Click a process for its command, open files and network ports. You can pause, resume, re-prioritise or end your own processes; desktop-session and Moxon Metrics processes are protected. Raising priority asks for your password.

Other users' and system connections show their app when the helper is running. Host names are looked up in the background.

By default only the first 192 bytes of each packet (headers and the start of the payload) are kept; tick Full packets for everything. Captures stop at the time limit or 50 MB. Saved files are .pcap in Documents/moxon-metrics/captures and open in Wireshark.

Pressure is the share of time at least one app was stalled waiting for that resource (last 10 s / last minute). Above 10–20% for memory or disk you will feel the laptop slow down.

On the other machine: install the same package, open Settings → Sharing, switch it on and copy the link. For a server with nobody logged in, also run sudo loginctl enable-linger $USER there so recording continues without a desktop session. The certificate is pinned when you add a machine, so a changed certificate is reported instead of trusted.
Runs as your user, never as an administrator. Closing this window ends the session.

SMS and WhatsApp use your own provider account and are charged by your provider per message. They get a one-line summary (machine, alert, reading), at most the daily limit, nothing during quiet hours except urgent alerts, and the same alert at most every 10 minutes. If they fail and email is set up, the alert goes by email instead. WhatsApp through Meta needs an approved template named as above with two text fields: the alert and its details.
Tokens and passwords are stored only in your settings file, readable by you alone. Save settings before testing a new channel.
Anyone with the link can view (not change) this laptop's readings, so share it only with your own devices. HTTPS uses a self-signed certificate: your browser will warn once; check the fingerprint matches. "New key" stops every old link and Prometheus scraper.
This machine connects out to the relay; nothing here accepts connections from the internet. Everything it sends is encrypted with a key that only your devices hold: the relay can route and store it, but not read names, readings or history.
